The Problem
Earl had a water back up and the basement flooded twice because the water backup could not keep up with the volume of water. There was also a leak near the floor under the window.
The Objective
Installed two Grate Sump Pumps in their own sump well. Either pump is rated to handle the water volume needed to keep the basement dry. We installed a AC/DC back up battery with power inverter so he does not need to mess with 12v pumping systems in the middle of a electrical power failure.
The crack was sealed, and installed with a 7′ water redirection system as an additional back up.
Installed a high water alarm so if the primary pump needs to be replaced you will be notified. Leaving them with plenty of time to get fixed on your own schedule.
The Results
The customer has a Pump system that can handle the water that tries to enter the basement, with the end effect of a nice dry basement to use on a daily basis.
